I agree....the crop has greatly improved the image...it's smoother, and the resulting mood is more calming, just as it should be at the end of the day on a wide beach.

I did not see the earlier version that others mention, but this is really a lovely photograph. I like the way the lighter sky at the upper left balances the light portion of the beach/water at the lower right and the combination of curves and lines is very nice.
