Really nice job, on a difficult subject and a very challenging light situation. If only, I would've removed the phone or remote control on the couch....it doesn't hinder the picture though.

rigore ed ordine, una serie di rettangoli in diverese prospettive e su diversi piani, una luce morbida ed uno spazio "vuoto" (apparentemente).

In questa perfezione formale, io credo che il telefono stia bene li ...dov'e'.

I like the atmosphere here...

About the phone: I think, the intention was to create a more relaxed atmosphere and to show that this couch is actually beeing used by somebody...isn't it?

Ask for money from the company that makes the phone ;)

I think this is good. However, I am not sure the brownish cast at the near end is really benefitial. Well, above you'll find some local desat and knoll-filtration. Anyway, I like your photo.

-And I think this is NOT good. Windows blown out. Maybe a fill flash could have helped. But why this is found to be such an excellent image is beyond me.

John, I find this as an architectural interieur shot. The essential clue is the godly light in the windows which gives a very etheric and voluminuous ambience. Technically this is not an easy shot because you have to get a balance with the counter light. A strong foreground gives always a good depth effect. I also see this photo as part of a serie or a brochure rather than just being an isolated photo. Anyway, I can easily see the merits in this photo. Yes, maybe a shift and tilt lense would ahve made it betetr, but it's damn good as it is.

Again, pure technical facts against the art and feelings. Photography has a synonime: "emotions". I don't need more, and perhaps you neither. At all, captivating image developing a lot of details about the owner personality. Iaia, is it your home?
