vladt 0 Posted April 18, 2002 What you think about this? Is it too much information in this picture? Thanks in advance! Link to comment
valerie 0 Posted April 18, 2002 I REALLY like this photo, because it's the first time (outside of when I visited it myself) that I've seen what it really looks like to be there. You get a feel for the texture of the rock floor, the arrangement is very well composed. It'd be great with AND without the people (i.e. - be nice to have both options), and I wouldn't call it a "crowd". But an excellent different look at Delicate Arch. Thanks. Link to comment
christian deichert 1 Posted April 18, 2002 Definitely wouldn't all it a crowd, but it's a nice shot. Sky is a bit burned out in the middle, though. Link to comment
vladt 0 Posted April 18, 2002 Thanks Valerie. I've seen a lot of pictures featuring Delicate Arch before. But I was really surprised when I came to this place myself. It's 360 degrees of amazing stuff and I agree that shooting just Arch doesn't really give you that Feeling. IMHO :). Link to comment
javedrassi 3 Posted April 18, 2002 nice picture, it would be even nicer, if there were no people. Link to comment
rbctvguy 0 Posted May 13, 2002 This is a view I've never seen. The people add a wonderful sense of scale and distance. This arch is much bigger than I thought it was before seeing your photograph. Link to comment
mcnecker 0 Posted May 18, 2002 The people are disturbing, but I guess there's nothing you can do about them. Link to comment
bob stewart jacksonville 0 Posted May 18, 2002 nice shot. The wide angle distortion works to give this shot a neat feel. I think the people make this shot by adding perspective. ( I might have cropped out the very first person on the left though.) or waited for ttthem to walk a little farther. Link to comment
mark_lum 0 Posted September 17, 2002 Great shot of a well photographed place!!!! This perspective really captures the sense of being there, and the panorama is well done. I think the people in the photo are somewhat distracting, but they also provide a sense of scale. (Besides, they may have all been waiting for you to get out of their viewfinders ;) Link to comment
Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted January 24, 2006 I think the people make it by giving scale, although I agree that it would be nice to have a version without. I don't like the frame though - I would prefer nothing, or more simple - plain white or black, but that is my taste. Link to comment
