williammccarey 0 Posted January 30, 2007 You took the lighting just to the glare point, but not beyond. Definitely pops out from the background. Might even work with a little softening of the whole image...to simulate printing on matte paper. Next thing you will be selling to Hallmark Cards. Link to comment
tereay 0 Posted January 31, 2007 Very beautiful, Mary! The "firey" color stands out perfectly against the dark background. Link to comment

mary fran 0 Posted February 28, 2007 Thanks Andronic, I'm afraid I am as stubborn in liking your shot and expecting courtesy from members as our friend was feeling it wasn't correct. All ended well off line, we disagree and he admits he's from a culture that is different than ours (in the states)and direct is ok there. C'est la vie. Fact is, your version would make the wall in my house if my husband insisted, the other he'd have to hang in the garage or basement. Check the tractor in his folder below, we both have photograped it from every perspective and in all kinds of light. We both love that tractor...but...if I have to hang a picture of it in my house the version below is the only one that'll fly. Link to comment
