Dieter Schaefer 20,283 Posted January 29, 2007 Christian, a very nice capture. A less tight crop might work better here IMHO; assuming of course that this is not the full frame image. Aesthetically, it looses as bit due to the noise that is very apparent on the bird's wing in particular. I applied the Neat Image noise filter (Noise Ninja would be an alternative) to clean it up; didn't spend the time to optimize though. Regards, Dieter Link to comment
alvaro 0 Posted January 30, 2007 It lacks a bit in sharpeness but what a truly great nature document this is. I bet you had a great day photographing them. Regards Alvaro. Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted February 1, 2007 Very good capture, a bit of sharpness would help. Link to comment
joanbn 0 Posted February 2, 2007 Very nice, Christian. They have beautiful coloring... I've never seen a bee eater, have to look them up and see if we have them here in the U.S. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted February 4, 2007 Another great capture in your collection of great bird photos. Very colourful birds and always great timing. BTW, I saw you're a math teacher - I have long forgotten my math but I did have a degree in Math many years ago. Link to comment
