Nothing beats a TLR and especially an old Rollei for shots like this. I do not care what else they invent and market; whatever new digital pet-rock or mood-ring -- the acme of photographic equipment was reached by Misters Franke and Heideke so many decades ago.

And what compells photographers like you and I to make photographs (I refuse the term "capture images") of old rotten stumps and such. Have we fallen down and bumped our heads? Where are your over-saturated sunsets? Where are your over-saturated macro shots of a bug on a flower? You will never get a POW like this.
