Beautiful image - just a suggestion - my eye would prefer a little more space above the head (if the original allows) - but still a really nice image!

Major improvement over previous version compositionally. Agree with Jan about more head space but realize that this would introduce a dark area above the head, so no go here. Would clone out the one bright spot in front and a little up from the bill; it keeps attracting the eye away from the bird. As a personal preference, I would remove the long grass in the birds back as well. Very tough lighting situation mastered very well. Regards, Dieter (no rating)

Bill, agree with other comments.

For me, one of the strongest elements is the lower grasses (weeds). Eliminate all the other extraneous stuff and you'll have a much stronger photo. Oh, add a little fill light to the bird (LR or curves).
