arash khoshghadam 0 Posted January 25, 2007 Hi Mauro This is an absolutely nice shot. The motis is tack sharp and placed near the right 1/3 of the frame creating emphasis through position. The man's standing near a vertical wooden pole has strengthen the vertical gradient of the man and puts further empasis on the motis through contrast with the horizontal gradient of the background. The sheep grouping together has produce unity through similarity of elements and continuation of optical movement starting at the motif and proceeding diagonally to the right edge. THe visual flow is nicely constant and very smooth transferring visual importance from one element to the other. The only drawback here is the exposure. There are areas in your image where you have completely underexposed the details such as some of the sheep in the foreground and the plant s in the backgroung behind the man. What metering mode did you use for this shot? Link to comment
arash khoshghadam 0 Posted January 25, 2007 I have tried to rescue some details out of the underexposed areas. Link to comment
mauroscacco 1 Posted January 25, 2007 My metering is eye only, sorry... (no metering) The image, in your version, seems too grey, no kind of black and white deep tones (it seems to me)also if sky is much more detailed... The problem of this image may be it's a backlit shot... Many thanks Mauro Link to comment
