Guest Guest Posted January 22, 2007 An interesting motive. Too bad about the burnout in the left side... Mikkel Link to comment
mwyckoff 0 Posted January 23, 2007 I think your photo is great. Even the burnout is expressive of the contrast between light and dark. Keep shooting at the edge of the day. Link to comment
mario2 0 Posted January 23, 2007 I like it,perhaps will be interesting to see a b&w version with a good contrast. Link to comment
jh de beer 0 Posted January 24, 2007 It is ok, but I have seen better ones recently. I like the composition, but the fact that I know what the building looks like took away some of the mystery - not your fault though. The contrast is too great in my opinion. The shadow parts have too little detail and the blowout is distracting (for me anyway). But I'm sure a lot of people will love this. RegardsJH Link to comment
anthony_r 0 Posted January 24, 2007 My feelings about the building aside, this photo does little for me. In this case, there are a myriad of ways of capturing a 'new' shot of this subject as it is do dynamic and varied and I believe that was done, however to what affect? As a study in line, form and composition, perhaps even color it's mildly interesting, but only mildly. Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted January 24, 2007 Anthony, thank you for taking the time to leave me your comments on the subject, even though you dislike the building; I sincerely appreciate your honesty, please take a look at my other pictures, I would really like your opinion on those. Link to comment

lennartmaschmeyer 0 Posted October 29, 2007 Great shot Juan Carlos! I just browsed through your portfolio again, this marvel must have slipped my view the last time. I like the flowing lines and the beautiful light in this one, which works perfect to accentuate the interesting structure of the building. Congratulations, Lennart Link to comment

plangereis 0 Posted August 27, 2010 Beuatiful! The colours and tonal changes in this image are stunning. I agree that the shadow areas and the highllighted area are a bit too contrasty, but I still like the image. Great work, Juan.Paul Link to comment
