The light,and your conversion to b&w is good,IMHO perhaps a touch of contrast wiil be nice.Respect to your horizontal frame,did you take a vertical version?,I think that will be interesting to compare both.Greetings Seth

Seth: Excellent image ... great detail, low angle, composition, D.O.F., contrast ... etc. ... looks great in B&W ... and indeed what a day, experience and moment you had. Excellent work ... very impressive.

Got this shot as the sun was in the perfect part of the sky to cast the shadow in this direction to fill up the frame and add some dynamic energy to the image. Ditto everyone else's comments as well.

what a neat idea! i like this very much. everything fits together nicely and there's a nice flow from the foreground to the back. i especially like the contrast back in those mountains. well done!
