prennich 0 Posted January 21, 2007 An attempt at merging two exposures--one for the foreground, one for the sky. Successful? Any tips for doing it better? Link to comment
minicucci 0 Posted January 21, 2007 Looks pretty terrific to me. Great job with getting the delicate details of the hoarfrost. Link to comment
samn 16 Posted January 21, 2007 It's a good attempt. The tall weeds? (however attractive) don't work. They should not be in the light. Link to comment
tylerwind 0 Posted January 21, 2007 Looks like a wonderful first "attempt" to me. I really like your composition. The range of color (which you obtained by merging) is truly outstanding and very attractive. I know some people are bound to be frowning on this composition because the tree is centered but I would vote to ignore them and the "rules" in this case--the centered tree works really well in this composition. I also like the wide angle lens view--it's really nice! By the way, what program did you use to merge your shots? Is it an HDR program? I really need to start using those...it would help a lot of my shots tremendously. Great work--thanks for sharing! Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted January 23, 2007 Beauty!! Great color and good combining. I think your composition says alot about breaking certain rules. Placing the little tree in the center was a good choice. Link to comment
