Perhaps the most creative and artistic "homeless" shot I've seen. However, the artistry and somewhat abstract nature of the photo almost distracts from what I think you are trying to say with the photo. For example, the fact that we don't see his face, IMO, makes it appear somewhat less like a reflection of the "human condition". None of that detracts from the quality of the photo, however. Outstanding effort.
