petewelsh 0 Posted January 21, 2007 Thankyou Jan... Yes it's a real tit no silicone implants on the bird or the twig its all natural... The lichens on the branches on all of the trees in this area are this size.. I dont know how long lichen takes to grow this way but would imagine it is several years worth of growth. I think I may try some macro on the lichens next time I go to this area. Link to comment
bgeg 0 Posted January 21, 2007 The harsh light got you again you might try underexposeing as much as 1to1&1/3 in these lighting conditions, better yet try early morning or late afternoon , everything else looks great! Regards, B. Link to comment
petewelsh 0 Posted February 11, 2007 Thank you Bill. You will probably see I had the same problem with all of the small bird shots ... They were all taken the same day in the same spot or at least within a few feet of each other .. I had the bright winter sun shining on them and it was also lighting up the lichen .. I will make a point of going there again when there are different lighting conditions I think it will be worth it. . . I used a tripod for the shots but... I think I got excited and was stabbing the shutter.. I am now waiting on delivery of a remote shutter release cable.. Thanks again for your moral support and tips ~ Peter ~ Link to comment
