scobian 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Natural light Portrait. Hope you like it. Constructive feedback welcome! Link to comment
roger_kallet 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Placing the subject so far to the left would be too extreme in most cases, but the placement of the S-curving road gives proper balance to the composition. Well done. Link to comment
neilpeters 0 Posted January 19, 2007 A true portrait works, in the sense the beautiful calm face is reflected in the serene background, really nice Salvador. Link to comment
scobian 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Neil, Roger, Thank you for your kind comments. They are very encouraging. I'm "going back to the basics" trying to work more on my composition rather than just retouching skills. Cheers! Sal. Link to comment
theodeby 0 Posted January 21, 2007 Hi Salvador, thanks for the comment on my recent entries. I already rated your picture on a hgh level, but since I am a newcomer I was not identified yet. What I like in your picture is that the winding path and park behind the model gives a dimension of movement and beauty to her already well captured features. Keep going, I am looking forward to meet you again on this great medium, Theo Link to comment
