awhitt99 0 Posted January 25, 2007 Sometimes is tricky getting the foreground exposed properly when you've got such a beautiful background you're trying to record. The colors in this sunset are some of the most beautiful I've seen. I would suggest that in photoshop you very carefully select the kayak only and do some level adjustments to it, just to give it a little more highlight so it has contrast against the water. sobie 0 Posted February 2, 2007 Thank you for the advise, but I have already done some editing. Unfortunately it didn't turn out the greatest, although I am not the most knowledgeable at the program. Link to comment
nicolerenee 0 Posted July 5, 2007 I think the foreground is just fine, thats not the focus of the photo, the great sunset is the focus and the kayak (right spelling?) just gives a sense of place, almost like I am the one sitting there witnessing all that beauty. Great colors, nice reflection, good choice of horizon as well. Well done shot, I like it lots! Link to comment
sobie 0 Posted July 6, 2007 that was my main goal of the photo; I didn't want waves being the only aspect to the foreground, so I incorporated my kayak as well to keep the photo from becoming bland. the beautiful sunset and kayak work together to complete this shot. Link to comment
