I'd say it would be stronger cropped. I mean that surfer looks little bit too little, specially when there are other (disturbing) surfers in frame. Of course there is an contrast between big nature and small man, but it is not enough for me, at least in this frame. Quite good, still. No ratings, since I do not them anymore. a s l a

I?d also think a crop would improve the image. But I would only crop enough to exclude the red surfer in the background and some of the birds above to put more focus on the surfer.

Maybe you could adjust a bit the contrast and/or tonevalue, so that the wave and the fore-/background seperate a bit more, but that?s a matter of preferance.
