susan stone 0 Posted January 17, 2007 What a wonderful composition, it's full of energy and motion and color and fun and poetry and animation and it's just great!! I wish you'd post some of these shots for critique and get lots of good ratings and exposure. I hope none of the little kiddos were spun off into space. Link to comment
k c 0 Posted January 17, 2007 woohoo~ this will be one of my favorites in your 'motion' pictures! :) really brilliant, if i may say so. Link to comment
lgreene 0 Posted January 18, 2007 Even the Texan version of spin the bottle is bigger! I Love the zoom lines going out in every direction but the swirl pattern you caught here is nothing short of exceptional. Love the title -autobiographical? Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted January 18, 2007 Leann - well yes - and well yes again ... I was walking thru Lithia Park and nothing struck me as particularly interesting so I 'zoomed' everything - including the 'poison oak' signs )-; ........ except for the Owl - I didn't zoom him. Interesting Mr. kay - I hesitated to even upload it ..... thanks for sharing that ! Thank you Susan - not yet - but I'm going to spin it harder next time - (-; Link to comment
emjordan 0 Posted January 18, 2007 Ken, I'm at a loss as how to properly express how "wow" this image is. Just letting you know I love it. elisabeth ;-) Link to comment
lbattjes 0 Posted January 18, 2007 This is definitely the best zoom you've posted...I think it's because you've caught the twirling motion and added to it with the zoom. The swirling lines make this so unique. Very abstract, very mesmerizing. Love the bits of maize and blue...knew you were a Michigan fan after all :-P Les Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted January 18, 2007 It's not pretty Hanna - )-; - More Salsa ? - (-; Ms. Battjes you need to calibrate yer monitor - obviously you're mistaking a Longhorn for a Wolverine - again ...... just sayin' (-; Thanks Elisabeth .... ! Link to comment
janisok 0 Posted January 18, 2007 Very nice whirl you captured there!I have attempted a few of these and have not gotten up the courage to post them yet. What the HECK IS IN THAT POT?J Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted January 18, 2007 Janis - post emmmm' - we won't make fun of you - evil grin ........ I am told this is armadillo - probably from a restaurant in Port Arthur'd be my guess - (-; ... Dear Hanna - the recipe would be a 1/2 second shutter speed - zoomeddd - hand held ..... smile. abintraphoto 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Hi Kimster - it takes practice for sure - hold the camera still and move it - makes complete sense ....... Thank you for stopping by ! (-; Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Deja vu - I hated the merry-go-round when I was a kid and this brings it all back. That dizzy, sickening feeling when you finally get off. Come to think of it, I've had this feeling fairly recently when I drank a bottle of Port accidently all by myself! I think the pot of stuff reminded me... Good job, Ken - you are the master at this type of shot. Most can't pull it off, but you do time after time. Link to comment
sheryl_w__blue_mt._ 0 Posted January 20, 2007 ... can I play too?? .... movement with color... Pure Energy, Ken, very nice.... and it looks like all colors are represented ( including an itsy bitsy, smidgen of green )... Another Original Photo... Link to comment
