A little light playfulness

I may not be able to beat nature at playing with light ... but at

least I can try and compete !

 

It's all about enjoying photography :D

Great use of camera's long time exposure. good thinking too, not a detaile and sharp one (due to enjoyment). can you tell me the details about the picture, like shutter speed, time of the picture taken and the aperture, etc. Thanks

Details were:

 

30 seconds - first half shining headtorch onto Ellen, remaining time allowed me to run into frame covering torch and exposing it to the camera to 'write' the name and run out of frame again. If you look really closely you can just see my jeans under the first 'E'.

 

Taken about 9pm in arctic circle Finnmark, Norway. Lens Sigma 10-20mm at 10mm and wide open.

 

Northern lights were very bright that night too. Lights from nearby sodium light adds to the foreground.

 

 

And .... That's all there is to it!
