eldar 0 Posted January 14, 2007 These 5 images were put together from 5 different pictures taken over a span of 3 hours covering day, evening and night in Toronto. I selected these 5 outs of over hundred pictures and put them together in PS without much manipulation. Comments are most welcome. Link to comment
eldar 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Thanks for your elaborate feedback George. I have experimented with other variations of this technique and you can take a look at other versions of this in my portfolio. Cheers, Eldar. Link to comment
whenkat 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Thank you for bringing out the 'art' in photography, which for many seem to be oblivious. Anyone can take a snapshot, but it requires special talent to make a photograph...as Ansel Adams once said, 'You don't take a photograph, you make it.' Link to comment
midget 0 Posted January 16, 2007 I like this one better than the other composed of three parts. It's "clearer". Chris. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 17, 2007 I agree with Chris....this one is definitely my favourite of this series of shots... however... I did really enjoy them all. Excellent idea.... and well executed!!! Angela Link to comment
alinux33 0 Posted January 17, 2007 If I would have some good Photoshop skills, I would try to overlap each layer with 5 or 10% and make that part a blending zone of colors from each side, in the final to have a less distinctive transition line between each layer. I hope that make sense. Please excuse my rough English. Excellent photograph and idea! Alin Link to comment
eldar 0 Posted January 17, 2007 Thanks all for your great feedback and ideas. Alin, I have not tried blending the layers as per your suggestion but somebody else suggested that to me as well and I think I might give it a try to see what comes of it. Link to comment
