Nice creation. Beautiful light. As fas as the compo, I hesitate..I might like to see the bottom of the instrument at least. The dark stripe right is too thick. cheers Jana

I agree with Jana's comments. But I nonetheless find this a bold, striking, and intriguing image. It caught my attention immediately and I keep looking at it.

Very striking image, both in color and with its bold lines. I love the background stripes, but would like to see the bits of light (showing mostly in blue) cloned out...the deep red and dark shadows are enough and the slivers of light draw my attention aware from the subject. I would also like to see the bottom of the instrument, but that doesn't bother me nearly as much as the light slivers. Very appealing and eyecatching shot...nicely done.

Visual rythm...I like the colors, light/shadow...I think the size of the black stripes matches the size of the violin arm...so for me it is OK...you choose to perturbate the rythm of the black stripes with your violin placement...it is more original than aligning the arm to the stripes rithm...(not sure about the highlight reflection on the 2 right stripes)...regards, Laurent.
