qit_qat 0 Posted April 15, 2002 could you explain me how you do to have this tint difference between fore/background ...?Anyway, the result is great ! Link to comment
olenberger 0 Posted April 16, 2002 Thanks for your comments. I didn't do anything to acheive a tint difference between the foreground and the background; this is how the scene looked. Well, I did boost the saturation of the foreground weeds slightly in Photoshop, but this didn't change the tint. Link to comment
jefro 0 Posted April 17, 2002 Particularly at noontime at high altitude, skylight is much bluer than "normal". It can reflect off the haze to give faraway objects a much bluer tint than those up close. I think that's what you are seeing here. This is a fantastic shot. Please tell me you used a tripod, otherwise I will have to get another home mortgage to afford a Hasselblad. Link to comment
olenberger 0 Posted April 18, 2002 Yes, I used a Gitzo G1220 tripod and Gitzo ball head. I also pre-released (mirror lock-up) and used a shutter release cable. I am in the habit of doing this for most any landscape shot. Link to comment
