Diane and Son

Not sure what it is I like about this photo...I just know I like the shot. The emotions seem to be captured and the photo is simple and very pleasing to the eyes.

This is a wonderful portrait. You've captured the mother's love for her child and the child's curiosity about the world perfectly. The only thing that could have improved it would be a reflector off to the right of the frame to lighten her face a 1 zone or so. (Yeah, I know we don't always have that luxury, especially with kids.)

Nice tones, attractive subjects. Good feel. Not sure sure about the choice of border.

Great photo, you captured great expressions on both their faces, not easy to do with a child, I have to agree though, I am not sure on the choice of the border.

The child's expression is unbelievable. i just regret not to see the mother's eyes. Maybe also the crop of her hand... yet, the expression does the job and it still works fine for me.
