keimae 0 Posted January 18, 2007 Sorry in advance for this comment... Reminds me of the movie 'Terminator' Sorry once again, and seriously, My only experience with US law is through TV here in Ireland so believe they are quite serious, Did he know you had taken this? I agree with previous "risky" comment. Great 'Real' feeling though! Link to comment
ameripol 0 Posted January 18, 2007 Ok, I confess. I set this shot up with the Police Departments cooperation, to illustrate a story for the magazine I work for. In this day and age it would be a very dangerous thing to lift a black object up while being approached by a cop. It would be a easy way to ruin a otherwise good day. I am glad it looked so real! keimae 0 Posted January 20, 2007 Forgive me if I've got this wrong but it DOES look imperfect (it's not technically exact! i.e. the officer doesn't look sharp) and it's for this reasons it looks real. Great image... Could I be so bold (taking your point regarding raising black objects to an oncoming officer) as to suggest you might be able to set-up a shot where the officer has 'apparently' realised you have an object and reaches for his weapon... If you shot several frames in sequence, I'm sure you would capture the most poignant frame of his drawing of his weapon - now that would really be 'dangerous' or 'scary' I'm pretty sure the department wouldn't sanction a set-up like that though! Just my over-active imagination!! :-) Best regards from Ireland, Keith Link to comment
