aginbyte 0 Posted March 4, 2007 ... the tree, foreground and branches. Another wonderful sight in France of which I am completely unaware. I love going through your portfolio and learning more about these backroads of la belle France. Since I spend have much time in Yonne, Auvergne, Dordogne and Poitou for several decades, am particularly delighted to find something new, especially so well portrayed. This is near Melle, right? Not far from the Via Turonensis, Compostelle route? I've been by but never stopped in. Used to live in Chauvigny and Poitiers. Have lifelong friends in Vivonne (home to Ravaillac's dream of assassination!) Congratulations again. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Thank you Dennis for your visit. You knows numerous regions of France. I believed your were French. Yes, this castle is not very far from Melle. But it is a little castle, not very known. Inside there is an exhibition on lace, costumes and the life in the region during the passed centuries. Link to comment

rajeevthomas 1 Posted April 11, 2007 Henri, this is an amazing perspective of a great castle. Your exposure right on! I love the framing with the tree, and the light is just perfect showing the details of the castle.. regards, Rajeev 7/7 Link to comment
