interesting idea but the flash was too bright. ?too much blue sky? jh

Is the flash too bright what would make her stand out like as if it were two pictures glued together ?

 

I've got a few like that, and have never been able to understand what does that ?

It seems that flash was too bright for this scene, that's why the pic looks like a composite of two pictures. In fact the only alteration for this photo were the shadow/highlight adjustments to bring more details in the foreground and background. The resulted contrast is a bit too much for some one tastes, but I'm not taking myself too seriously and I don't pretending that what I'm doing is 'art', I'm just having fun...

I would also say good use of flash. If you are satisfied with it, than everything is O.K. I still haven't tried to use flash in situation like this one. Regards, Dejan

Considering the conditions and the camera I used, I could say that I'm pretty satisfied, especially if I know that this is just a picture from vacation. Maybe the colors are too saturated a bit. Thanks for your comment! Alin

I like this image a lot.

 

I do not think that the falsh was too bright at all, if it was it would have left hot spots all over her face, this is a good use of flash on a low light scenery.
