Laser system in operation at Liquid Nightclub, South Beach.

I've had this up for awhile, but never submitted it for critique.

Kind of a juggling act with this one, one hand on the lighting

console, one on my Pentax, and somehow I still managed to have the

laser fire. No photoshoppery here.

Looks like a pretty difficult shot to me. Was the lady posed or in motion?

What's the black line mid photo?

I could never pull this off!

Great energy shot! And it looks like a tough exposure. Weird effect, with laser beams seeming to penetrate the girl in white, and deep sense of focus. You sure there's no pixel jockeying going on here?

The black line in the middle was a projector scrim of sorts. The girl was in motion, and the only way I could prove there's no Photoshopping is by showing the negative :)

 

This took some planning, of course. The girl was random, really...I didn't ask her to get up, it was part of her nightly routine.
