Violin teacher

I wanted to make iz BW, but then I've changed my mind. What do you

think?

Can't understand what's the main on this picture: the violin or the teacher. You had to decide it when shooting. And the face is unseen.

I like the colour in the violin - I would leave it as it is. I like the image. I agree with above comment but it is not the image that bothers me - it is the title. (because like he says, you can't see the face) but titles are always an issue for many people so that is something to consider. Not for me. I just really like the image. I can almost hear the hardwood floors she walks on and hear the echoes through the hallways of the school of students practicing and the light is lovely like sunlight through a window. I like this image very much.

I think the meaning of a picture is in the picture itself, not in the title. Sometimes titles are funny, interesting or just unusefull... but they must not change the meaning of a photo. Maybe the best title is "untitled". I think it's not right to critique the choose of the title. We should consider only the picture. And i think it's a good photo anyway. The colours work well and.. yes... the face doesn't work too much. We should see it more... on nothing at all.. why not? By the way i think it's a good shot

Well, like Jan already figured out, the light is coming from a window. The sun was shining into the classroom full of young violinists, so she got up with the violin in her hand and tried to close the curtains. Yes, maybe I've chosen the wrong title, because you didn't know what was happening, but now you know. I like the photo (more than some others, which were rated much higher) and I don't care if other people don't think that way. And by the way, the face is so bright because of the sun light. There was nothing I could do about it. I couldn't tell the sun to shine less. ; )

Mogoče bi za malenkost manj osvetlil, da ne bi bil obraz toliko skurjen :S

Sicer odlična ideja, prosi to damo, da ti še večkrat pozira z inštrumentom. Preprčan sem, da bodo rezultati super.

Hi Nina. I love this shot. The tones are wonderful and I like the way the light reflects off the violin. I can't play a single note, but the sound of a violin goes right to my heart. Very nice job ... Ray.
