Jamin Elliot didn't really need to dive into the endzone here, but I don't mind. :) I had to backpedal (like always) a lot to get this one.

I kinda forget what the exact settings were for this one, but for a day football game my shutter is at about 1/250-500 and the aperature pretty high.

It's pretty obvious that Jamin Elliot (Blue - UD #7) didn't really

need to dive into the end zone to get the TD, but I won't complain --

hey, it makes for a great photo. I had to backpedal a lot (as usual

for a football game), but I got there in time.

I've taken hundreds of sports shots, and I think I have some talent

(I'm self-taught). But I want *your* opinion. Go ahead, rip it

apart, I just want to get better. One thing I don't like with this

photo is the fact that the players' faces are not well-lit at all. If

this were not action, I'd throw a soft flash on them, but that wasn't

an option. I would have also liked to get a different angle -- either

head on, or from the direct side. oh well, let me know what you think.

All things considered, I think it came out great! There's really not much that can be done about the lack of light on the player's faces. (It's not like you can ask them to turn around and do it again from a different angle... heh)
