I'm interested to know how others react to this in terms of

composition - I like the symmetry and movement - as well as the light

and overall photo technique.

The composition is good and the eye does follow the channel out to the left but I don't think there's a great deal of real interest aside from the pier on the right and the clouds. Much of the he detail is lost in darkness. I'd be inclined to crop in on the lower right hand quadrant.
