kali goddess 0 Posted January 9, 2007 Great photo! Something about this photo makes me want to give human emotion to this insect. Maybe it's the large eyes, or the angle of the antenna. I feel like he's looking at me with curiosity, as if to say "what are YOU?" Link to comment

danielwreed 0 Posted January 9, 2007 Well done. I haven't seen very many images made with that lens. Must be nice to be able to go to 5x with such a small lens. I generally prefer natural light where possible but this shot is great. Link to comment
peter_houtmeyers 0 Posted January 10, 2007 I' am very pleased you all like this photo. Daniel this small lens is worth its weight in gold. This wasp was on the move constantly, i had to use the flash to get a high enough shutter. Link to comment
alibek 0 Posted February 9, 2007 It is a full-value portrait. The capture is extrtremely good! The most amazing thing is a background - what was that? (a post-processing or something real?) Finally, the exposure and lighting are perfect. P.S. Seems like everyone is interested in this unique lens.. Meanwhile, it's less expensive than EF 180 f3.5L macro USM! Way less expensive... and is a great value in final analysis. That's cool! Link to comment
peter_houtmeyers 0 Posted March 22, 2007 @ Alibek The background becomes black due the low power from the build-in flash.Somethimes its an advantage and somethimes its a disadvantage.....it worked well in this photo imho. Link to comment
alibek 0 Posted March 24, 2007 ...indeed, it works awesome here! Recently I got a TTL cord... so here's my experiment.. or sort of a trial:) A cat by 1/64 430EX + EF50 f1.4 USM thanks, Alibek Link to comment
