poutnik 1 Posted January 8, 2007 This image was captured just minutes before one of my previous posts, the TreCime di Lavaredo. The light was changing very quickly, but Imanaged to set up in time... What do you say, do you like it? Thanks for your time... Jiri Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted January 8, 2007 This one shines because of the great sky, the light beam on the mountain is the "icing on the cake". As a cloudscape aficionado I should vote for this version, but I prefer the previous, closer take. What distracts me a bit is the foreground, I would have chosen a lower horizon and the brightly lit mountain placed a bit more towards the right. Link to comment
poutnik 1 Posted January 9, 2007 Thanks Carsten, I'll try your crop suggestion. As I was shooting, the light was changing so quickly I didn't have the time to check all the details of the photo... But I'll try a crop... Thanks Jiri Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted January 16, 2007 Superb landcape photo, in my opinion excellently composed. There is a good proportion between the landscape (including the foreground) and the sky full of clouds except a little part just above the mount and by where this last is lighted up (at least you can think that). poutnik 1 Posted January 17, 2007 Thanks. Henri, I also think that that blue patch of sky is the source for the light on the Tre Cime (the foreground peak). At least it could be so according to the time of day, position of sun, my location... Anyway thanks Jiri Link to comment
