bartimeus1 0 Posted January 10, 2007 Avner, thank you for visiting to see my photo. I really like the colour-scheme of this image. It is so harmonious and gentle. The building is ready to be torn down, but yet the sun shines in and warms and gives light. In a way I see some hope in this. If and when there comes a new building to replace this one, there is going to be the same sunlight, as well as it is to the hills that stand on the background. I read this kind of message from this one and like that symbolism a lot. Alpo Link to comment
bleedingashes 0 Posted January 10, 2007 Thank you Avner, for another melange of emotions, truth and concepts wonderfully executed. One can feel that eternity warming what so many vacuums dressed in life have cooled down. The colors and lines confront perceptions and direct it to a kinder place. I feel not only see how they are few constant sources of true life that sometimes escape our distracted paths. Link to comment
jason j 1 Posted January 11, 2007 The mountainside is echoed in the widowside, while the wires attached to nothing says something about the passage of time. I also like how the color serves as a dividing line separating the window from its silhouette/reflection. You have a great eye that enables you to see art in places that other people (like me) would overlook. Congratulations. Link to comment

hekate 0 Posted June 16, 2007 An image that gives you the thrills..excellent combination of visual form and concept. great feeling of height-as being somewhere up.. I like the tension between the shadowed area and the highlighted one! Best regards, Cristina(ps: thanks for the comment!) Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted June 15, 2010 A very poweful image made even more so by your title; it is very sad to me yet the light is so beautiful...the continuity of life. Very well done...into my favorites it goes. Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
