I like the colors and the idea I just don't like the shade. Can you redo it without the shading? It just detracts from the picture. Also the one pink pencil has that marking on it and your eye goes right to it. The idea is great and I love things like this and would love to see this shot done again just without the shadows.

I like both the concept and execution. I agree with Micki about the line on pink pencil.

 

Micki: Which shadow bothers you, the one casted by the pencils, or the one on the bottom left corner ? I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it, and it does not bother me that much, so wondering.
