frank_p 0 Posted January 13, 2007 It may be men's socks that get lost, but it's women looking for them...with men photographing them from a distance. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted January 13, 2007 You are very right; I think the key point is "from a distance." Thanks for stopping by. Link to comment
guido11664881459 0 Posted April 30, 2007 With the greatest satisfaction I am reading this disquisition on The Mystery of The Missing Sock. The fact that so many people are participating in the debate, proves that the matter is of universal importance indeed! I am particularly satisfied because whenever in my life I tried to explain the problem to a woman, I received nothing but ridicule and disbelief. Thus, Mark, I am very grateful that you initiated a serious discussion about this phenomenon on a philosophical basis. Personally, I tend to support the Vortex theory of Shane Willis, although some of the other contributions seem well-founded too. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I'll let you know. Link to comment
aginbyte 0 Posted April 25, 2008 .... but I love this shot. Personally, I think she is praying to the dryer gods to accept her offering. Now I know someone (a brother in law) who actually uses diaper pins to hold his socks together in the wash and the dryer. To my mind, that is someone with a nasty karma backlash coming due :) Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted April 25, 2008 Thanks for coming. Anytime is perfect. I have actually come up with the perfect solution: I have stopped wearing socks altogether. This was, however, made slightly more challenging when I moved from California to Seattle. Link to comment
