fraxavfer 0 Posted January 8, 2007 I like this photo very much. The colours are soft and beautiful. And the lines, as you imply in the title, are evocative of the curves of a nude. There are only two slight problems I can see: one, how about posting a larger version of this picture; and two, since the foreground is out of focus, wouldn't it be better to give more weight to the top part of the frame. This is just a thought; I may be wrong. In any case, it's a fine shot. Link to comment
fraxavfer 0 Posted January 8, 2007 Excuse me Nevil. Having looked at the picture with more attention, I realize the foreground may only APPEAR to be out of focus on account of the ripples and the shade stretching across the sand. But of course that still leaves open the question of how much prominence should be given to this part of the frame. Comments anyone? Link to comment
nevilzaveri 0 Posted January 8, 2007 dear francis fernandes, first of all very much thank you for you critics. here, i gave more space to the foreground just because the sky above was totally flat; and moreover, i found this view point more appropriate to justify the title. yes, the foreground does not seem much in focus because the picture was taken in very late evening and the contrast was very much low.
