papasan 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Great timing! this is a very nice picture. I like the colors and movement. My only comment is that i would have cropped a bit more of the left and bottom. The big mass of rock on the left and the patch of grass at the bottom only distract from your main subject, in my humble opinion. Overall nice capture Link to comment
copeg 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Beautiful Shot Jason. The colors and action are awesome. I agree about the crop...the foreground here doesn't seem to lend itself to the rest of the shot...in fact maybe a more panoramic crop might work here. Very nicely captured...you've brought that sunset to life on my screen. Well done. Link to comment
anish 0 Posted January 5, 2007 i agree that the colors are excellent, and i also agree that some cropping could help the image. i don't see any problem with using the foreground grass, but i might've tried using less of it. maybe just a strip to border the bottom of the frame. by moving down and closer to the grass, you might've been able to get a strip of grass running all the way across the lower part of the image. this is only a suggestion, of course, but in my opinion, having the grass form a simple straight line across the frame would give you the benefit of a border without an extra shape to distract from your main subject... david morgan 0 Posted January 8, 2007 Great colour and naturalness, perfect timing to capture the breaking surf. Congratulations. Link to comment
aramat57 3 Posted January 10, 2007 This is amazing! Beautiful color and depth. Maybe I would agree to crop just a teensy bit of the grass. (Actually, I like the grass, it's the sand in the corner that is distracting) I would like this pic on my wall, very compelling. Congratulations! Best wishes, Tammy Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted March 25, 2007 Anish hit the nail on the head, so I'll just say I really like the way the cloud continues the line of the sea spray. Cheers, Aaron Link to comment
