pioupiou1 0 Posted January 5, 2007 for sharing this really beautifull portrait with movement but no blurr at all ! Thanks to a flash from the side ? It is really good ! I like it. Thank you again. Link to comment
aslavihervuori 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Very lively postrait and respectable BW work with toning. People do not smile too much in the world, so I like smile, too. Some kind of distortion, or rather like blurring filter (PS?) is almost too visible, and it could be framed tighter, but combination of these two (blur & loose) is just great! Excellent portrait, indeed. No ratings (since I do that no more), a s l a Link to comment

aslavihervuori 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Oh, dear, is this really a self-portrait? If it is, may I ask, how many exposures did it take to get framing right? a s l a Link to comment
joanna1 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Thanks a lot for all comments!:-) That is not a self portrait - and that effect is just the combination of a narrow aperture and dynamic movement of the camera :-) Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted January 5, 2007 I am a beginner and don't know portraiture at all but to me, this looks technically perfect! Amazing lighting and tone! And a killer smile to boot! Link to comment

jkwiatkowski 0 Posted January 8, 2007 One of the most interesting portraits posted within the last few days. Congrats :) Did you try with different angles? Might be interesting to see it with a little tilt to the left or right. Just an idea... Beautiful model, by the way... So is the photographer, as I can see :)) Greetings from Piotrkow, jk Link to comment

golden 1 Posted October 14, 2008 I like this picture, when i first saw it on the home page, i noticed how the background swirled, i have a yashica c tlr that does that effect when the lens is close to wide open, i really like the lighting here and the model's smile, very beautiful. keep up the good work Link to comment
richard___7 0 Posted October 14, 2008 A perfect photographic example of the old saying, "The eyes are the mirror of the soul." Joy might be her name, but it's also the best description of the image. You really captured the "moment." Thanks for sharing. Richard Link to comment
