Light over Reynold's Club

This is pretty much the perfect setting for K64, a low key subject and dark reflective surfaces. I've always like the look and colors in this one. Unfortunately, it never scanned well, and that's an understatement. I've finally got the guts to do a 16x multisampling and low-high exposure passes to digitize it. The result looks barely enough for web, but the original looks wonderful when projected to 50''.

By the same token, this image is the sole reason why I won't use a digital camera as my main tool in the foreseeable future. 8 bits simply won't cut it.
