New Year's Day with a hazy lens

My daugther making dinner, I shot this with a completely hazy lens,

which has been cleaned since.

John, as an art teacher I stress a complete value scale on all projects. I try to achieve the same thing in my b/w photos. I think you did a great job here. I love the haziness. The dark corner on the left could be a little lighter, but I still like it. It is common place. Real life.Not posed. Good job. My kind of photo.

This is a great photo. You show a nice eye for an image here, and there is some wonderful detail in the shadows and great range. Maybe you should let the lens get hazy again!
