forrest_andrew 0 Posted January 12, 2007 i spent a cold, windy morning along the Rocky River in Jasper National Park and was rewarded with a pleasing pre-dawn glow. all thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated. however, i would be specifically interested to hear people's thoughts on the sharpness of the image. i shot this in RAW and did some PS sharpening, but am curious to know if perhaps more sharpening would be a benefit. thanks! satishnair 0 Posted January 12, 2007 Andrew, nice composition and colors; a worthwhile reward for braving a cold morning! I think some sharpening will definitely enhance the graininess of the foreground snow, adding texture and depth. I tried selective sharpening of the lake, sparing the mountains to avoid the halo at the horizon..... Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted January 12, 2007 Some sharpening in the foreground would be good. Overall a beautiful mellow shot. Link to comment
