therese 0 Posted December 29, 2006 Very nice composition. Lots of nice atmosphere. Think this would have been greatly enhanced with greater tonality. Would like to see some bright whites and deep blacks somewhere. Hope you don't mind...did a bit of editing..what do you think? Link to comment
therese 0 Posted December 29, 2006 Edited version -- adjusted levels (brought darks in), increased mid tone contrast a tad as well as overall contrast, brightened a bit, and burned and dodged (mostly some highlights in the water, the lamp post, the people, and the white wheel/tire mark), removed bright white spot in pavement. momente 0 Posted December 30, 2006 I still think that the original shot has something natural and calm enough to make it better than the suggested version. More so, being done in flim. Link to comment
therese 0 Posted December 31, 2006 It may well have been my computer monitor. Some photos seem washed out on this monitor. I realized this working with a photo of my sisters. UPDATE: Definitely ignore my previous comment. The screen on this computer is very misleading. Confirmed it after editing a few of my own shots and having sister check them out. So revised critique: Very nice atmospheric shot! Congratualations! Link to comment

davidorea 1 Posted January 5, 2007 Excellent b&w shot, Nick. Nice vertical composition with very good reflections and balance. The background is great. I like the foggy atmosphere. Best regards! Link to comment
