.th 0 Posted December 30, 2006 feet position is a kind of fantastic thing when it comes to photography. a split second later, and you would have had a completely diffferent photo. i think this one is kind of funny, it seems like he's sitting, in a familiar, yet unfamiliar, position. it's sort of hard to take serious. which again, crashes with the rest of the photo, which is cool, clean, straight on,... nothing to smile/laugh at (or to...) i think one (i at least) would have to get very well known with it, to appreciate it fully, to get over the humorous aspect of it. i'd like to do that, though given the time i usually spend with single photos, that's somewhat unlikely (sadly enough) on a strict compositional level it's unbalanced, left heavy. it feels like he's climbing and i'm slightly uncomfortable with it. i'm not sure if spending time with it would cure, but i'm getting more and more willing to do so. hell, why not, choose one photo and stick with it, instead of going from one to the other all the time, getting only the top surface out of them. yeah, i think that was the "best" idea i had with photo.net in a loooong time. bottom line, very interesting photo you got here (sorry for the clishe). i'll be back ;) best. th Link to comment
