Burning Industry

I was trying something new, something I've never done before:

sunrises. Not only was the early morning start tough, but learning how

to do it, too. How is it? What do you like or not like about it?

What I do like about this is the fact that you did it, I love the sun. It is so overwhelming in this scene that it has an almost a gloom and doom presence. What I wish were improved is actually beyond your control and it's the level of contrast that has blown the colors in the sky. Maybe capturing in raw would have given you more control over exposure. Also under exposing a bit and using curves to recover the mid tones would be an option too.
