Very nice shot. I like the slow shutter speed to get the feeling of motion in the water. I also like the repition of all the poles. Colors or nice as well.

I love the composition and the color tones of this shot. The motion of the water is prefect as well. Very good!

As with most of my images shot in RAW, I increased the saturation just a bit after JPEG conversion. I also got the horizon a bit straighter using PS. I believe that was it. I used a 2-stop graduated netural density filter to hold the sky during the shot. Thanks for commenting.

One of my favourites here, great choice of shutter speed to show the flow of water and the colours are nicely rendered.

Daniel, I've really found great joy and inspiration looking through your portfolio tonight. This album immediately caught my attention because I'm a lifelong resident of NW Florida (Milton, a little NE of Pensacola). You've done a wonderful job of capturing the natural beauty of the beaches here.

Ironically, I was thinking earlier tonight that I might go to the beach this weekend to do some night-time long exposures (something I've never tried but really love in others' work). Your photos, especially of the pier, have only made me more excited about the possibilities.

One question: were all the photos in this album taken in Destin, or did you venture to any of the other beaches along the Gulf Coast?

I appreciate everyone's very nice comments. Elizabeth, the photos in my NW Florida album were taken in locations from Penscola Beach, Destin, St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, St. Marks NW Refuge, and Blackwater River State Park. You can see more of my NW Florida photos at my website: www.ewertnaturephotography.com. Thanks.
