Sad but true. Here it is 2006, almost 2007 and these shots are still possible. So sad that this shot is needed. And like all of us, the photographer probably just walked away. What can we do?

In Vancouver, BC, Canada a friend and I took a homeless fellow that was throwing up red stuff to a local hospital kinda against his wishes. He was eating ketchup mixed with Listerene to get some kinda drunk. He looked much this this fellow. Sad once again.

PLEASE DO NOT GET ME WRONG! I am not criticizing the photographer...I wouldv'e taken the picture and walk away myself.

 

True... I do walk away in some sense.. I always stop and ask a name and how they ended up in the position they are in. I remember each of their names. If you look at my website you will notice I take alot of homeless pictures. I usually offer them a few bucks but in most cases that just feeds their habit. I do respect the life they live and the choices they make.
