Hi Syed, Thanks for your time and comments. I've added the tech details for you and others to see. As for the shutter speed and the left bird being more focused: a 640th of a sec was enough to freeze the swallow on the left because it was almost stationary at the time, but I would have probably needed about a 2000th of a sec (or less) to freeze the landing one. It's kinda strange that they both wanted this little spot on the railing - there was plenty of room all around for lots of birds to land - it just had to have that particular spot. Oh well, makes for a nice image for me...
