papasan 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I submitted this in color a few weeks ago and someone suggested a b&w version. I think the sepia tone gives it an antique look which fits well with the picture. Any opinion or suggestion? Link to comment
alexander mandl 0 Posted December 22, 2006 nice shot.. good tones.... the roof has a tilt. I would try to crop it a bit from top, to get rid of the tilt. cheers alex Link to comment

papasan 0 Posted December 23, 2006 thank you all for your nice comments. I appreciate it very much. Personally i still prefer the color version but i do see some merit in a monochromatic version. As for the comment on the tilted roof, i considered cropping it even in the color version, but this is a 150 years old building and i think that the slight sagging on the roof just adds to the overall feeling of age and history, so i kept it as it was. Thank you again Link to comment
sylvie bélanger 0 Posted December 30, 2006 Tres belle photo .. j'aime beaucoup qu'elle soit en Sepia, ca lui donne le cote "vieillot" qui se marie tres bien avec l'age de la maison. .. Bravo ! .. Sylvie Link to comment
paolamarinangeli 0 Posted January 12, 2009 Dear Michel, probably because I love so much Sepia, I have to give my preference to this version instead of the color one (that is in any case beautiful indeed...) I think that this ''vintage look'' version has more pathos, a glimpse of melanchony everithing contribute to give the shot athmosphere and (may I say.....) personality. I like it very very VERY much. Thanks for yr comments on my photo Paola Link to comment
