kyle_burt 0 Posted April 6, 2002 Nice shot. You did a great job in capturing the cat's attention and getting a good composition for what must have been a fleeting moment. Nice choice of film, it really helps set the mood. Link to comment
geris_k 0 Posted April 6, 2002 I liked the square format. Was this a fleeting moment? Or were you watching the cat for a while? I thought it looked very spontaneous. I liked the see-through basket and morning light shining through. I also thought the the cat's pupils and highlights were really neat. It's pictures like this that make you believe that they have souls, too. Link to comment
kenneth___gail_hovanec 0 Posted April 6, 2002 When my husband and I saw this photo it was a double "WOW" - this is one of "those" pictures. The way the pillow highlights the dark cat and the cat's eyes are highlighted in it's adorable little face makes this one of the most appealing photos we've seen in a while. The photo is composed beautifully. Thanks for sharing! Link to comment
a._c._cooper 0 Posted April 7, 2002 Thanks for the warm response. To answer the question, Whimsy (the cat) was put into the wastebasket for the purpose of a picture, but she refused to stay put long. A moment after this was snapped, she leapt out of the basket and fled the scene. Link to comment
vmuehe 0 Posted April 8, 2002 Background is a little distracting, but otherwise a great shot! Link to comment
a._c._cooper 0 Posted April 8, 2002 The grainy texture of the photo was created by high speed film combined with accidental underexposure. Link to comment
gloryraptor 0 Posted April 8, 2002 The cat's name is Whimsy? And I thought it was just a perfect title for the picture. It seems it is also a perfect title for a cat. Your combination of lines and circles, topped of by this fabulous cat is absolutely wonderful. Give Whimsy a kitty treat for me... :D Link to comment
