Nanda Devi

Thanks Chris. Nanda Devi is considered by many mountaineers to be one of the most beautiful mountain. I fell in love with this mountain when I was climbing in this area in 1977, and since then my fascination with this mountain has continued.I just saw your photographs; they are beautiful. From which location did you take this excellent photo ?

Also based on you travelling/climbing experience at Nanda Devi, which would currently be the best place to take photos of this mountain, given that the sanctuary is closed and I am not an experienced trekker . So looking for a kind of easily accessible area.

Ashish, thanks for commenting on my photo. This is from Auli, just above Joshimath. You can drive up to Auli - the road is fairly okay now.
