tereay 0 Posted December 16, 2006 This is a street cleaning lady. I'm attracted by the shape of her hat. Thanks a lot of your comments! Link to comment
beepy 0 Posted December 16, 2006 Interesting - it resembles in approach your architectural photos. I assume you post-processed the image to reduce the background clutter and focus on the hat - I'm a bit on the fence on this, I'm not sure it's entirely working. But perhaps the original image was too busy? Link to comment
tereay 0 Posted December 16, 2006 Hi Beepy, not really, the background was already blurry because of the aperture, but I use ps to take away the color (which I do find distracting) and used a ps style to change this to look like a painting. I chose that style because the effect reminds me of a Chinese ink painting. Link to comment

tereay 0 Posted December 16, 2006 Not able to draw myself, it's good to have the camera and ps to draw for me :) Link to comment
samcisa 0 Posted January 29, 2007 Very, very interesting job. Background is so unique and works beautifully with the foreground. The only thing I would do different is "finishing/ending" the right part with a little texture, but take that just as my personal impression. This is only your picture and I really love it as is. tereay 0 Posted January 30, 2007 Hi Samir, I'm so glad you like it. I think you're one of a very few :) I will remember your suggestion if I've a chance to take a similar picture. Thanks a lot!! Link to comment
samcisa 0 Posted January 30, 2007 Now I understand. Just checked the ratings. I can only tell you that I've seen many great photos rated low. That is a shame. For me, it's only important when I get a written comment. For a bad rating I would like to know the reason. If it is not there, than I try to not pay so much attention. Link to comment
tereay 0 Posted January 31, 2007 Samir, I don't mind the bad ratings. They're just a way of life in PN. But I do know not many people like this kind of ps treated image. I like it, and a few of you like it, so that's good enough to keep it :) Thanks again!! Link to comment
